Custom UI Templates
With version 2.7 of WorkLink Create authors can create custom UI templates. Sometimes the default templates don't have enough items to meet your requirements, so anytime you wish you had more UI elements to choose from in a step remember that you can make a custom template!
To get started head over to the Asset Library and select new UI Template as shown below. The new template you created will initially live in the Generated Project Assets under UI Templates, and will become available in Personal Assets once you navigate to the UI Editor and select the template you've just created.
To rename your template simply click on the Edit button in the Asset Library, and name it to your liking.
Once you've set up your template you can begin to customize it, by default some Components may not have the size you need, which is where editing a UI template comes in handy. From here you can add as many Components and increase their sizes to fit your requirements.
From the example below an author might need more headers to link to other steps of the project, but by default you're only given a maximum of seven headers. Instead, you can use Options, which serve the same functionality as headers! There are many different choices you can pick from, so I encourage you to browse around to see what Components you can incorporate into your project.
Custom templates allow authors the flexibility to reduce step count by having more Components than a default template can provide. If you're ever in doubt about running out of UI elements remember you can make a custom template with the newer version of Create!

Thanks Bryce,
We have the option of adding buttons to our custom templates. There is a Confirm button (labeled as Accept by default) and a Cancel button (which can be configured to go to a specific step.
When I create a custom template the Accept button can not be configured to do anything. Just sits there.
My ultimate goal is to have a button the user can click to close the scenario. The existing Finish Procedure UI Template does have a Confirm button, but it's labeled as "Yes". And, this does close the scenario. How in the heck to you configure the Confirm button to close the scenario! :)
Thanks!
Sam.
