Create Authoring: Copy/Paste Transforms, Callouts and TimeLine Objects, oh my!
For creating efficiently there may be no more widely used ability in software tools than Copy/Paste. Whether its a drawing that must be duplicated, a cat meme found on google, or the essay one just had ChatGPT write for them, ctrl-c/ctrl-v is essential. In WorkLink Create all the elements one would expect to be copy/paste-able; objects, text descriptions and timebars for example; can be. There are, however, additional elements in the authoring process which can be copied and pasted to great effect.
In the Object Properties window for a selected object, every single group of properties (Transforms, Pivots, Actions and Callouts) can all be right-clicked (directly next to the words "Transform","Pivot", "Action", etc.) to a reveal a copy/paste option. These can be copied and pasted onto any selected object anywhere in the project, be it the same object in a latter step or a different object on the current or later steps. This enables the rapid transfer of position and rotation information, complex action setups, and callout properties across a project.
Similarly, not only can timebars be copied an pasted within or across timelines, but Channels (entire rows of timebars) and Objects (the collection of animations in a step on a given 3d asset) can also be copied and pasted. Do so by right-clicking next to the word "Channel" or next to the name of the 3D element in the timeline to reveal a Copy/Paste menu. This enables the rapid re-use of groups of animations across steps.
Happy Copy/Paste-ing !

Copy/Paste is key to a fast workflow for any author!
Why animate 12 bolts/screws individually when you can master one then copy/paste it to the rest!
Great Tip Noah!
