Grey screen after stopping simulation

Hi!

Often after stopping the simulation in Create the page goes grey with only the Support button on the bottom corner. This has caused quite a bit of lost progress and redos. I've tried "ctrl+S"-ing on the grey screen but it doesn't seem to respond at all.

Any tips on how to fix this?
