Create Authoring: Primitive Objects as Hotspots
In Create, we can make objects tappable but sometimes an author would like to add multiple hotspots or even define these hotspot areas. An author can easily do this using primitive objects, such as cubes or spheres, from the creation menu.
Since primitives are separate objects, an author has full control over the size, placement, visual style and amount of hotspots being used.
For example:
Smaller objects might be hard to tap but when using a separate primitive object, a larger hotspot area can be achieved with out changing the original object and only adding a small amount to the project.
If a transparent hotspot is desired, authors can edit the hotspot objects material by setting it to be transparent and modifying the alpha setting to however much you would want to see.
Start using primitives when creating hotspots to allow much more flexibility to your workflow!
