Callout Axis Lock

Hello,

I was wondering if we could get Axis control over callouts. As of now, if I have 10 callouts around a device, they all rotate inward toward the camera (Billboard) on every axis so it looks a little silly. I would love the option to lock rotation similar to locking certain axis in standard billboards.

  Hi Brendan,

  Thanks for your feedback, I created a ticket in our backlog for this request (internal reference 2440).

  I will keep you updated once this request becomes a release candidate.

  I assume you'd like to have similar control as billboard settings? Meaning the ability to lock the x, y or z axis indiviually?

  

  For the time being, a potential workaround could be to manually construct callouts with planes and 3D text, similar to what is described in this video.
