App Onboarding
Last year, many requested us to provide a tutorial scenario which you can use as a reference – and perhaps modify to fit your particular use cases. We still think it is a great idea and have been thinking about this more. To help us design this more diligently we’d love to better understand how you’re onboarding your users to use the app today. We are interested in understanding the entire funnel from when new users are initially contacted to use the app to what their first experience completing a scenario looks like. This includes:
- How they are first informed to download the app e.g. via email, in a group meeting, etc.
- What info, if any, is shared before and after they start the app
- Anything after that could reinforce their learning.
To help with that please answer the following with as much details as you can provide:
- How are you onboarding new users into the app, or plan to?
- What are you teaching?
- What is working well?
- What can be improved?
- How does this vary, if at all, across users with different licenses?
- How does this vary, if at all, across different platforms?
