Timeline Editor Record Camera Movement
It would be great to be able to have an option to have a button in the timeline editor that would record the user camera movements. Currently you have to input a camera and then use the translate and rotate commands to move that camera around to get the views you would like. It would be much easier if you could click record and software created a camera that followed the users movements.

Hi Anthony,
Thank you for your request.
Using "Use Viewport Camera transform Values" currently does not work yet while recording camera movement in the timeline editor, but I created a ticket for it.

Using this would allow an author to keyframe the views seen in the viewport, and record them for later playback (wich would interpolate the camera position between the user defined keyframes, over the defined timeframe).
Would this approach be an answer to the user value you are looking for?
Thanks for confirming.

Hello Gilles,
Yes that approach would work great. Thanks for the info.
