New Features and Enhancements:
Below is a list of new features and enhancements made to the CMS, Create, and App since the last On-Prem release (version: 3.82.16 / released: February 23, 2026).
CMS
- 3.43 - Updated Groups Page for Folder Support: The Groups page has been updated to support the new Folders functionality, ensuring only relevant areas are displayed and improving overall navigation and usability.
- 3.43 - Shared Folder Access Displayed in “Shared With” Column: The Scenario List now includes users and groups that have access through shared folders within the “Shared With” column, providing better visibility into content permissions.
- 3.43 - Added Feature Flag for “3D Checklists”: A new feature flag called “3D Checklists” has been introduced. This feature is disabled by default for newly created companies, allowing for controlled rollout and testing. Please note: 3D Checklists are currently under development for future releases of Create and the App, and this feature flag is intended to temporarily hide the feature until functionality is complete.
- 3.43 - OAuth 2.0 Token Endpoint Support for all Apps: Server-side support for OAuth 2.0 token endpoints has been implemented and strengthened across the platform. This includes: refresh token grant support, standardized token behavior, improved authentication security. All client applications can now use this OAuth-based login flow.
- 3.43 - CMS Uses OAuth 2.0 Access & Refresh Token Flow: The CMS React Admin application now fully supports the OAuth 2.0 access and refresh token client flow, improving: session reliability, predictable login/logout behavior, security handling.
- 3.43 - AI Pools Configuration Form: A new configuration form allows server administrators to define AI Provider Pools for the AI Server and AI Assistant. This enables: weighted pools of AI providers, dynamic provider assignment, greater flexibility than fixed provider/model combinations.
- 3.43 - Strengthened Auth Token Expiration: Authentication token expiration handling has been improved to strengthen platform security while also improving user experience during session expiration events.
- 3.43 - iPad Detection with “Launch in WorkLink” Button: The system now detects iPad devices and displays a “Launch in WorkLink” button to improve redirection and app launch behavior.
- 3.43 - Migrated Origin Groups to Folder Structure: Origin Groups have been migrated into the new folder structure to preserve customer organizational layouts and support future folder functionality. Note: This migration enables folder features for companies moving forward.
- 3.43 - Capture Browser Version in WebApp Sessions: The browser version is now captured as part of ENTER_SESSION event processing for WebApp sessions, providing more detailed analytics and troubleshooting data.
- 3.43 - Extract Workflow Engine Data from .scope GLB Files: Workflow Engine data is now extracted directly from .scope GLB files. This allows: scenario state persistence, proper restoration of 3D Checklist workflows, resuming scenario sessions with preserved state.
- 3.43 - Export Session Images in a Single Package: Users can now export all screenshots and photos from a scenario session as a single downloadable archive, simplifying session documentation management.
- 3.42 U1 - OAuth-Style Authentication for All Clients: This release introduces support for OAuth-style authentication across all WorkLink clients connecting to CMS. This modern authentication approach provides: improved security for client-server communications, standardized authentication flows across products, a foundation for future enhancements in access control and identity management. The CMS admin interface has also been updated to use this new authentication method. All WorkLink clients will migrate to this model in subsequent releases.
- 3.42 U1 - OAuth Authentication for Analytics Client: The Advanced Analytics client now fully uses the new OAuth authentication model. This ensures: consistent login experience across CMS and Analytics, improved security for analytics data access, alignment with the broader platform authentication strategy.
- 3.42 - "Initial Folder Support: This release introduces the foundational capabilities for organizing content into folders. This includes backend support for folder structure, permissions, search, and bulk operations.
- Note: The CMS UI for folders is currently behind a feature flag (“Folders and Advanced File Management”) and will be fully exposed in upcoming releases across WorkLink products."
- 3.42 - Support for Bulk Asset Updates (Create Integration): CMS now supports bulk updating of assets, enabling multiple assets to be modified in a single operation. This capability will be surfaced in an upcoming release of WorkLink Create.
- 3.42 - New User APIs for Presence Server: Added new APIs to support the upcoming presence server, which will enhance real-time communication and user presence features in WorkLink app.

- 2.48 - Multi monitor support phase 1: Preferences, Project Settings, Project Health, Search & Replace, History, Object Groups, Attachments, Step Actions, Step Conditions and 3D Asset Optimizer windows can now be separated in a new browser window.
- 2.48 - Color picker now shows recent colors and allows to preset and manage picked colors.
- 2.48 - Ctrl and shift click drag to select time bars in the Timeline Editor.

- 2.42.0 - Restart Crashed Persistent Per-User Sessions: Users can now restart persistent per-user scenario sessions that were interrupted by an unexpected app closure or crash. This feature helps users quickly recover and continue their work without having to start over, improving the overall scenario experience.
- 2.42.0 - Modernized Authentication with OAuth: The app's authentication process has been upgraded from the legacy API v2 session login mechanism to an OAuth-based password grant and refresh token flow. This modernization improves security, reliability, and alignment with industry authentication standards.
- 2.42.0 - New CMS Single Sign-On (SSO) Experience: A new CMS SSO authentication flow has been implemented, replacing the previous browser-based authorization process. The new approach provides a more secure and streamlined login experience across WorkLink products.
- 2.42.0 - Support for Empty Folders: Folders are now displayed even when they contain no scenarios. Opening an empty folder will show a clear "No scenarios found" message, making folder navigation more intuitive and consistent.
- 2.42.0 - Folder Paths Displayed in Search and Load Dialogs: Folder paths are now shown throughout search results and scenario load dialogs. This allows users to quickly identify where scenarios are located within their folder structure and improves navigation within large content libraries.
- 2.41.0 - "Folder Support (Coming Soon): WorkLink now introduces foundational support for folders, allowing users to organize scenarios by machine, product, or any logical grouping.

- 2.41.0 - Annotations in Forms: Users can now add annotations directly to photos and screenshots within Forms, similar to existing annotation tools. This improves the clarity and detail of submissions, especially for inspection or reporting workflows.
- 2.41.0 - iOS: Increased Memory Limit Capability: On iOS devices, the app can now utilize more available memory, enabling support for larger and more complex projects on higher-end devices.
- 2.41.0 - Improved Memory Management of Assets: Enhancements to how assets are cached and released from memory result in better performance and more efficient memory usage during scenario execution.
- 2.40.0 - Improved Tracking Systems: The internal tracking architecture has been enhanced across platforms. These improvements increase tracking reliability and make it easier to add support for additional devices in future releases.
- 2.40.0 - Enhanced Scenario File Downloading: The app’s method for downloading scenario files has been updated to improve reliability and performance, particularly when operating on restricted or tightly controlled networks.
- 2.40.0 - Markup Photos with Drawing Tools: Users can now annotate photos directly within the app before uploading them to the CMS. When capturing photos during a scenario, drawing tools allow users to highlight or mark areas of interest, providing clearer documentation for the session record. [This release has only the initial stages of this feature, which can be turned on in the developer settings panel. This feature will be completed and exposed for all users in the following release.]
