CMS: Managing Work Instructions / Content
In the WorkLink CMS, users will be able to access the Content page; what is visible to you will depend on your user permissions:
- Administrators - Displays projects, scenarios, and catalogs for the entire company.
- Authors - Displays all projects and scenarios accessible to them.
- Viewers - Displays all scenarios accessible to them.
What you can do on this page depends on the license and for whether the project or scenario is accessible for non-admins:

Projects
Projects are the authoring file that exists in WorkLink Create.
The Projects tab displays a list of the Projects you have access to and provides the following information:
- Name - The name of the project.
- Create Build - Shows the version build of WorkLink Create that the project was built on.
- Modified - The date the project was last modified.
- Modified By - The Author who modified the project.
Project Details
Clicking on a specific Project Name will allow you to explore more details, such as:
- Created By - The author that created the project in WorkLink Create.
- Last Modified - The last date that the project was modified in WorkLink Create.
- Version - The version number of the project.
- Create Build - Which version of WorkLink Create was used to create the project.
- Type - Identifies whether it is a basic work instruction, knowledge check, or graded assessment.
- Published Scenario - Which scenario is published from this project.
- Shared With - Lists the other authors that the project is shared with.
You will also be able to view two tabs:
- Version History - List of change history of the project.
- Published Scenarios - List of published scenarios from the project.
Scenarios
A Scenario is a published asset that become available in the WorkLink App for the end-user. The WorkLink App always loads the latest version of the scenario.
The Scenarios tab displays a list of scenarios that you have access to and provides the following information:
- Scenario Name - The name of the scenario.
- Modified - The date of the last modification of the scenario.
- Modified By - Shows the WorkLink Author that last modified the scenario.
- Published To - Shows which user groups. the scenario is published to.
- Shared With - Shows the WorkLink authors that the scenario is shared with.
- Sessions - Allows you to consult session data for users that opened the scenario.
- Visibility - Shows whether the scenario is public or private.
- Type - Describes whether it is a basic set of work instructions or if it is a Knowledge Check or Graded Assessment.
The page will also show you:
- The 5 Most Used Scenarios
- Recently Published Scenarios
Scenario Details
Clicking on a scenario will allow you to explore more details, such as:
- QR Code - You can use this QR code to scan it with a smartphone or tablet, to open the scenario directly. This might require users to have access to the scenario depending on the setting. Clicking on the QR code will enlarge it and allow you to download it for printing or to share it digitally.
- Link - This URL allows you to open a scenario directly, similar to using the QR code.
- Sessions - Allows you to consult session data for users that opened the scenario.
- Versions - Allows you to consult the versions for a specific scenario. Each time a scenario is published in Create, a new version is created.
Catalogs
The Resource/Scenario Catalog feature enables authorized users to create catalogs containing AR scenarios, which can be easily shared via automatically generated URLs or QR codes. This content is accessible through the WorkLink app and can either be public or private, depending on how the catalog is configured. A catalog serves as a repository of Work Instructions or AR content, helping organizations manage and distribute resources efficiently.
