WorkLink Create: Callouts
Callouts are descriptive text boxes that can be added to 3D objects. You can set up Callout to create annotations and anchor them to specific parts of an object under Object Properties.
Scroll down to Callout to "enabled" and set it to "visible' to make it active.
You will be able to configure the following when Callout is enabled:
- Visible: You can disable this option to make the callout invisible.
- Auto Width: This setting will crop the width to the content of the callout.
- Width: This setting is only available for Auto Width off. It allows you to make a fixed width for the callout.
-
Scale: Allows you to make the callout smaller or bigger. This also influences the perceived font size.
Tip: do not scale the callout below values of 0.1792, as it might lead to display issues on the app. - Origin: To adjust the callout's origin, separately from the object's pivot. Pressing the "move" icon on the right will allow you to change the callout origin with a gizmo.
-
Offset: To adjust the callout's position. Pressing the "move" icon on the right will allow you to change the callout offset with a gizmo.
-
Title: To give your callout a name.
- Background: To choose a desired color for the callout title background, including an alpha value.
- Text: To choose a desired color for the callout title/name.
- Align: Allows setting left, middle or right alignment
-
Description: To add additional content to your callout, if applicable.
- Background: To choose a desired color for the description background, including an alpha value.
- Text: To choose a desired color for the callout description.
- Align: Allows setting left, middle or right alignment
- Stroke: Allows enabling/disabling stroke and setting a color for it.
- Line: Allows setting a color and an alpha value for the line connecting origin and offset.
You can simulate your project for a live preview of your scenario before publishing. Here is how to start and stop simulation in the new WorkLink Create.
