Overview

The CMS is the central hub for creating, organizing, and managing folders and scenarios.

The Folders page introduces a hierarchical folder structure for browsing and managing your content library.

 

Navigating Folders

Folder Tree

A new Folders item appears in the left navigation. Click it to expand a collapsible tree view of all folders you have access to. Select any folder to filter the main content area to that folder’s contents. Child folders load on demand as you expand each level.

 

Breadcrumb Navigation

The Folders page includes breadcrumb navigation showing your current location.

Example:

Scenarios > Production > Printers > HP

Click any breadcrumb segment to jump back to that level.

 

List View & Grid View

You can switch between:

• Grid View — visual card-style layout

 

• List View — sortable by name, modified date, and modified by

 

Creating Folders

1. Navigate to the parent folder
2. Open the context menu (⋯)

3. Select New Folder

4. Enter a folder name

5. Confirm creation

Note: You can only create subfolders inside the root Scenarios folder or inside other user-created folders.

 

Renaming Folders

1. Right-click a folder
2. Select Rename

3. Enter the new folder name

4. Confirm changes

 

Moving Folders & Scenarios

1. Right-click the folder or scenario
2. Select Move
3. Browse or search for the destination folder
4. Optionally create a new folder within the Move dialog
5. Choose whether to maintain current sharing settings
6. Confirm the move

Maintain Current Sharing Settings

When enabled, the moved item keeps its existing explicit sharing permissions instead of inheriting permissions from the destination folder. Use this article to review Sharing and Permissions for Folders.

 

Deleting Folders

Folders can only be deleted if they are empty.

A folder cannot be deleted if it contains:

• Subfolders
• Scenarios

System root folders cannot be deleted.

 

 

Downloading Folder Contents

You can download one or more folders and/or scenarios as a ZIP file.

The ZIP preserves the folder hierarchy.

Example:

production/printers/hp/scenario_name.scope

During processing:

• A toast notification displays “Zipping X files”
• Another notification displays “Download started” when ready

Searching Folders

Use the search bar to find folders and scenarios by name.

Search results:

• Respect user permissions
• Include full folder paths
• Support filtering by content type
