Introducing WorkLink App 2.25.2
We are excited to announce the latest release of the App, bringing a host of improvements and bug fixes to enhance your user experience. Here's a breakdown of what you can expect in WorkLink App Version 2.25.2:
Improvements
Precision 3D Object Alignment Improvements
This release includes several improvements for Precision 3D Object Alignment:
- In order to provide users with more guidance in obtaining additional angles, a cursor is now displayed on the sphere to indicate how the camera is positioned relative to the initial alignment.
- The sphere now scales with the camera distance so it is easier to see with very small or large content.
- Improved the contrast of the sphere against light content.
Improved brightness, reflection of metallic textures
Before this release metallic textures were darker and had unrealistic reflections with HDR lighting environments, but now there is closer parity between how it is rendered in Create and the app on mobile and Windows platforms. With that said, this remains an issue on HoloLens. Further, we added an option in the Settings menu called Legacy Rendering that can be toggled on to switch back to using the previous shader just in case there are any unintended side effects with existing content.
Bug Fixes
Highlight Spheres
Before this release highlight spheres were consistently 50% of the correct scale set in projects. Now they are properly rendered at 100% scale so it is consistent with how it looks in Create.
All actions now block navigation and force open forms with must-respond questions that are empty
Before this release timeline event invocations, most actions assigned to objects, Connected Services step conditionals, branch step type options, headers linking to steps, and step links in new UI templates did not block navigation and force open forms with must-respond questions that are empty.
