WorkLink Create: What are WorkLink Projects Session Types
You will be able to select the session type for your project before publishing. Session types in WorkLink Project define the characteristics of WorkLink sessions on the App, e.g. how the progress is tracked, as well as details of data/analytics captured during the session.
-
Persistent for any user: All progress is tracked. Sessions can be resumed if exited without finalizing. Sessions can be resumed by different users. Data and analytics are available on the CMS.
- v2.21.0 of the WorkLink app supports the option to name the session with details such as the work order that can be helpful to other users when resuming the active session. When users exit the scenario menu, they is a confirmation prompt with the optional text field for the name.
- Persistent per user: All progress is tracked. Sessions can be resumed if exited without finalizing. Sessions can only be resumed by the user who started it. Data and analytics are available on the CMS.
- Passive (default): All progress is tracked. A session will be ended when the user exits it i.e. session can not be resumed. Data and analytics are available on the CMS.
- Demo: This session type lacks the comprehensive data and analytics available in Persistent and Passive Sessions. There will be no record of Step Flow and Step Details. The session overview data will only show Session Start/End Time, Total Time Spent, Modified By, Device Specification and Geolocation.
