HoloLens 2: Error signing in “User currently belongs to no companies."
Issue
If a user experiences error: “User currently belongs to no companies. Please contact company admin to get a valid company role and license” while attempting to sign into the WorkLink App with their HoloLens device.
Cause
- A Single Sign-On (SSO) user must manually sign into Microsoft Edge during the first run experience on their HoloLens device (if the user was not automatically signed in already) in order to access websites and web applications on the device.
- A new WorkLink user will be redirected through the HoloLens' default browser for authentication when signing into the application for the first time. The default browser for HoloLens is Microsoft Edge.
Solution
- User must first sign into Microsoft Edge on the HoloLens device with his/her credentials. As a SSO user, it is expected that your credentials will be the same for Microsoft Edge and WorkLink app.
- If you experience issues signing into Microsoft Edge, please contact your IT/System Administrator.
