FAQ: iOS – Public Catalog Scanning Issue
Issue
Users reported being stuck on the login screen after scanning a public catalog QR code.
Affected Devices
The issue was reported only on iOS devices.
Root cause
The problem was traced to deeplink routing issues linked to Apple’s anti-tracking and network privacy settings. When certain Wi-Fi privacy settings were enabled, deeplinks from the QR code failed to open the app correctly.
Issue resolution
Disabling the following Wi-Fi network privacy settings resolved the issue:
Private Wi-Fi Address
Limit IP Address Tracking
Users confirmed normal behavior after adjusting network settings.
