The WorkLink session recording feature is currently only supported when the device placing the call is an ARKit or ARCore device.

ARKit is Apple's augmented reality (AR) platform for iOS devices while ARCore is the google equivalent. 

All older generation iOS or Android devices, particularly devices released prior to the introduction of ARKit and ARCore will not support session recording.
