CMS: Audit Logs
Audit Logs Overview
Audit Logs enable administrators to review activity and changes made across the platform. This includes actions such as creating groups or deleting sessions, as well as user activities like logging in, starting calls, and loading scenarios, etc. Audit Logs provide clear visibility into what was changed, who made the change, and when it occurred, making them essential for troubleshooting, security monitoring, and identifying potential data misuse or vulnerabilities.
Accessing Audit Logs
Administrators can access Audit Logs in the following ways:
-
Admin Console
Navigate to Company Info in the side navigation, then select the Audit Logs tab to view all recorded events. -
Webhooks
Administrators can configure Webhooks to trigger custom actions and automatically export audit log data into their organization’s system of record. -
API Access
Audit Logs can also be retrieved programmatically by querying the API to obtain a list of audit log events.
These options provide flexibility for both manual review and automated monitoring.
Navigating Audit Logs
Administrators can search for specific events by typing in the search box and clicking on the magnifying glass. Events can be filtered to a desired date range but are limited to the past 90 days. Activities can also be filtered into four categories.
- Admin Activity (e.g., create an invitation, update organization details)
- Create Activity (e.g., import assets, update project, create a scenario)
- Data Access (e.g., sign in to/out of CMS, resume a session, invitation acceptance)
- System Event (e.g., automatic/scheduled tasks, like deleting expired guest accounts or the scheduled closure of a company)
Additional event details can be reviewed by clicking on the arrow in line with each log.
