WorkLink Create: View toolbar
As you create sequences and steps, turn on the UI visibility to display the UI field in the scene. This can be toggled on and off at anytime.
The UI preview icon can be found in the toolbar. We recommend to test your UI, especially when you custom modify it, with multiple presets that have different aspect ratios and resolutions.
Options for aspect ratio are:
- Desktop HD (16:9 - 1920x1080px): Classic aspect ratio for 1080p - full HD screens (eg. 1920 x 1080 px)
- Desktop 4K (16:9 - 3840x2160px)
- Phone (19.5:9 - 2532x1170px): 19.5:9 Aspect ratio for modern smartphones
- Tablet (4:3 - 2160x1620px): 4:3 Aspect ratio for common tablets
- HoloLens 2 (228:145 - 912x580px)
Wireframe view
What it does
Shows mesh geometry as wireframe outlines in the 3D scene view so you can see shape and overlap without full shading. It is an editor-only display option; it does not change how your scenario looks when published or on device.
Turn it on or off
- Toolbar → View → wireframe button (outline icon)
- Shortcut: M
Your choice is remembered for the session.
While it’s on
- Applies to scene mesh objects.
- Line color is based on each object’s material color (darkened).
- The unit grid, gizmos, tools, and some internal helpers stay in normal view.
When you can’t use it
Wireframe is unavailable during simulation and publish. Stop simulation or wait for publish to finish, then toggle again.
Tip
Use wireframe to inspect model structure, check alignment, or spot hidden or overlapping geometry while authoring.
