Introducing WorkLink CMS 3.36.1
We are excited to announce the release of CMS 3.36.1, which introduces a range of new features to support enhanced analytics, improved app integration, and better asset management. This update also includes important bug fixes to ensure continued stability.
New Features
- Advanced Analytics Portal (Coming Soon): A powerful Advanced Analytics feature will be released in the next week, enabling Scope to deliver more detailed reports and allowing customers to customize their own analytics for deeper insights into platform usage.
- App Telemetry Support (Coming Soon): This release adds backend support for the WorkLink app to report feature usage data as telemetry. Once enabled in future app versions, administrators will gain greater visibility into how users interact with the platform.
- Transition to GraphQL API: CMS now includes support for the app to migrate from the legacy REST API to GraphQL, improving efficiency, modernizing data handling, and aligning with current API standards.
- Workflow Persistence Support: Added support for persisting workflow state, allowing workflows to be accurately resumed in resumption-enabled sessions, ensuring continuity in guided procedures.
- Hard Deletion of Assets: Assets can now be permanently deleted by server administrators. This resolves an issue where deleted assets were only soft-deleted, continuing to consume storage space, especially problematic for large files.
- Updated Scenario Completion Criteria: Scenario sessions are now marked as complete when a user exits using the “complete” button, rather than requiring all steps to be visited, allowing for more accurate tracking of user intent.
- Support for Materials and Templates in Asset Library: The asset library now supports materials and templates, paving the way for enhanced content management capabilities in future versions of WorkLink Create.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Sorting by Size on Scenarios Page: Resolved an issue where attempting to sort scenarios by size resulted in an error. Sorting now functions as expected.
This release strengthens CMS functionality across analytics, integrations, asset control, and workflow support. We recommend updating to take full advantage of these enhancements.
