Introducing WorkLink CMS 3.42.0
We’re excited to announce a new CMS release, introducing foundational support for folders, expanded asset management capabilities, and new APIs to support upcoming platform improvements. This release also includes important fixes to improve compatibility and data handling.
New Features
Initial Folder Support: This release introduces the foundational capabilities for organizing content into folders. This includes backend support for folder structure, permissions, search, and bulk operations.
Note: The CMS UI for folders is currently behind a feature flag (“Folders and Advanced File Management”) and will be fully exposed in upcoming releases across WorkLink products.
Support for Bulk Asset Updates (Create Integration): CMS now supports bulk updating of assets, enabling multiple assets to be modified in a single operation. This capability will be surfaced in an upcoming release of WorkLink Create.
New User APIs for Presence Server: Added new APIs to support the upcoming presence server, which will enhance real-time communication and user presence features in WorkLink app.
Bug Fixes
Resolved MariaDB Incompatibility: Fixed an issue where recent database changes caused incompatibility with MariaDB in on-prem environments. Full compatibility has now been restored.
Removed 1000-Row Limit on Audit Log Downloads: Previously, audit log downloads were limited and could truncate results. This has been corrected. Downloads now support significantly larger datasets without truncation.
This release lays important groundwork for future capabilities, including folder-based organization, enhanced asset management, and real-time presence features, while also improving system reliability for on-prem deployments.
