We’re pleased to announce the release of CMS 3.40 U1, introducing improved session recovery capabilities and an important fix to IoT message handling.

New Feature

• Support for Inactive Session Handling: CMS now supports identifying and managing inactive sessions that were abandoned without being properly closed. This enables users to resume and complete previously interrupted sessions, improving reliability in real-world usage where sessions may end unexpectedly.

Note: Full use of this capability requires upcoming updates to the WorkLink mobile apps.

Bug Fix

• Improved IoT Message Filtering by Company: Fixed an issue where IoT messages were not being correctly filtered at the server level by company. Filtering is now handled server-side, reducing unnecessary processing on mobile devices and ensuring correct data isolation.

This update enhances session continuity and strengthens backend data handling. We recommend updating to CMS 3.40 U1 to take advantage of these improvements.
