Introducing WorkLink App 2.12.78
We are happy to announce new updates to the WorkLink App. This release focuses on more styling improvements as well as refinements to the accuracy of object triggers and bug fixes. Please see details below:
New Features
-
Updated style for the Call Feedback: The UI for the call feedback dialog and the scenario menu has been updated. This adds to the styling updates started in previous releases.
-
Object triggers will now activate when clicking on the object: Previously, when using object triggers, the trigger would activate when clicking anywhere inside the bounding box of the object. Depending on the shape of the object, this could then result in object triggers being activated when the click is not close to the object itself. The Worklink App now uses meshes as trigger targets to provide an accurate way to detect a click on an object. Note: Due to performance limitations of the HoloLens 2, this functionality is disabled by default. There is an advanced setting to turn this on, if needed.
Defect Fixes
-
Scenarios on a call could get a step out of sync when using UWP: When using scenarios on a call with the UWP side as the tech and loading the scenario from the UWP, there is a timing condition where a compatibility error would be displayed and the scenario would be one step out of sync between the tech and expert. This has now been resolved.
-
Callouts appear blurry at a very small scale: When using callouts at scales below 0.05, the call out text would get progressively more blurry. The technology we used to display callout text has been changed so now the text scales to any size without losing any fidelity.
