We are pleased to announce the release of WorkLink App 2.44.0. This release introduces new capabilities for 3D workflows, calling, timeline playback, and app navigation, along with several fixes designed to improve reliability and the overall user experience.

New Features

1. 3D Checklists and Bolt Patterning: WorkLink now supports checklists connected to 3D objects within a workflow. The initial 3D checklist capability enables users to track the installation and completion of bolts in a specified sequence, providing a more interactive and structured way to complete assembly and inspection workflows.

2. Improved Calling: Calling functionality has received a significant upgrade to improve reliability and performance. Updates to the underlying calling technology simplify networking requirements and provide more reliable connections between devices, resulting in a smoother calling experience.

3. Timeline End-of-Playback Modes: WorkLink now supports the new timeline end-of-playback behaviors configured by authors in Create. Timelines can play according to the selected mode:

   1. Loop – Continuously repeats the timeline.

   2. Once – Plays the timeline once and stops.

   3. Ping-pong – Alternates playback forward and backward.

      This provides authors with greater control over how animations and timeline-based content are experienced in WorkLink.

4. Updated Scope-File Compatibility: WorkLink has been updated to support the latest scope-file data version, maintaining compatibility with content created using newer versions of Create. The app will also provide appropriate compatibility warnings when necessary.

5. Improved Experience When Opening URL Links: The experience when exiting WorkLink through a URL link has been improved. An optional confirmation prompt can now allow users to decide whether they want to continue before leaving the app. Users can also select “Don't show again” to prevent the confirmation from appearing for future URL links.

Bug Fixes

1. Offline Scenarios with Serverless Sign-On: Resolved a regression that prevented offline scenarios from loading when using serverless sign-on. Offline scenarios will now load as expected.

2. Image State Sizing: Resolved an issue where images could display at the same size regardless of the configured state size. Images now correctly reflect their specified state size settings.

3. Scenario Loading: Fixed an issue that could cause WorkLink to appear to hang while loading a scenario. This occurred when a warning dialog was displayed behind the loading dialog. Dialogs now display correctly, allowing users to continue without the app appearing unresponsive.
