Introducing WorkLink App 2.41.0
We’re excited to announce the release of WorkLink App 2.41.0, introducing powerful new capabilities for content organization, enhanced form functionality, and significant performance improvements, along with important bug fixes for a smoother user experience.
Availability: This release is currently available on Android and iOS. It is pending publication on the Microsoft Store (Windows and HoloLens 2).
New Features
Folder Support (Coming Soon): WorkLink now introduces foundational support for folders, allowing users to organize scenarios by machine, product, or any logical grouping.
Perform recursive searches across folders and subfolders.
Easily locate scenarios without needing to know their exact location.
Designed to improve navigation for large content libraries.
Note: This feature requires full support across WorkLink and will be enabled in upcoming releases of Create and CMS.
Annotations in Forms: Users can now add annotations directly to photos and screenshots within Forms, similar to existing annotation tools. This improves the clarity and detail of submissions, especially for inspection or reporting workflows.
iOS: Increased Memory Limit Capability: On iOS devices, the app can now utilize more available memory, enabling support for larger and more complex projects on higher-end devices.
Improved Memory Management of Assets: Enhancements to how assets are cached and released from memory result in better performance and more efficient memory usage during scenario execution.
Bug Fixes
Audio Insets Continuing After Scenario Exit: Fixed an issue where audio insets would continue playing after exiting a scenario (UWP and other platforms). Audio now stops correctly when the scenario ends.
This release brings meaningful improvements to organization, usability, and performance, especially for users managing large libraries or working with complex scenarios.
