Introducing WorkLink App 2.13.0
We are thrilled to announce the latest updates to the WorkLink App. This release focuses on new features and bug fixes. Please see details below:
New Features
-
Support for additional customization of Callouts: The callouts have had numerous new options added to them for additional styling and configuration. These new options are in an upcoming release of the Create product. This version of the app will display this new options as configured.
-
Support for using Metadata in Object Properties: The Create product has added a feature where metadata can be added to an object as a text property. This allows for metadata added during the creation of models to be preserved, used, and displayed as text variables.
- Improved Network Quality Indicator: The network quality indicator that is displayed during a call, has now been improved to take into account more network parameters and provide a more accurate indication of the network quality’s impact on the video and audio feed between devices.
Defect Fixes
-
Login is using the wrong keyboard style: When restyling the keyboard used during the login process, a different type of keyboard was used which is missing some important characters from the main keyboard layout. This has now been changed back to using the same type of keyboard as it was before.
-
Object that intersect with a video can be difficult to select: When using object on or near a video panel, it can be difficult to select the object at certain angles. This makes it difficult for authors that are trying to create a clickable area of the video. This has now been resolved.
- Video on UWP appears washed out: When on a call between a user on the UWP app and another device, the video on the UWP app can appear “washed out” or “color saturated”. This has now been resolved and the video is shown with the correct colors.
- When Android App is not started and is called, it gives an incompatible message: When the Android app is not started and it is called, a background notification will still make the call. If the user answers it, the app will give an incorrect “incompatible version” message. This has now been resolved and this message will only appear when the version is actually incompatible with the caller’s version.
