We are excited to announce the release of WorkLink App version 2.27.0, packed with several new features and improvements designed to enhance your experience.

New Features

1. Improved Menu in Scenario View: The command menu in the scenario view has been redesigned for improved usability. Commands are now more intuitive, with renaming and reordering for ease of use. Additionally, certain menu items will only appear when relevant, providing a more streamlined experience.
2. Enhanced Display for Long Scenario Names: Long scenario names are now displayed more effectively, with truncation in the middle to preserve both the beginning and end of the name, ensuring critical details remain visible.
3. Improved Content Placement Interface: The user interface for content placement has been refined, providing clearer and more intuitive controls when placing content in your environment.
4. Support for Filename Characters in Scenario Names: Special characters like "/" used in scenario names will no longer cause issues when saving session details. These characters are automatically replaced in the session filename to prevent errors.
5. FPS Counter: Developers can now access an FPS (frames per second) counter in the settings to monitor app performance under heavy loads.
6. High Quality Graphics Mode: A new high-quality graphics mode is available in interactive mode, enhancing visual fidelity. This mode will automatically turn off if it negatively impacts performance, ensuring smooth usage.
7. Flashlight Control on iOS: iOS users can now toggle the flashlight on their device to assist in low-light environments.
8. Restyled Scenario Exit Dialog: The scenario exit dialog has been restyled for consistency with other recent UI updates, providing a more cohesive user experience.

 

Bug Fixes

1. Callouts Intersecting Ghost Objects: Fixed an issue where callouts were cut off when overlapping ghosted objects.
2. Toggle Callouts Menu Command: The "Toggle Callouts" menu command now appears whenever it is relevant, ensuring better usability.
3. HoloLens Voice Commands: Resolved issues with HoloLens voice commands that were not working consistently across different scenarios.
4. UI 2.0 in Quiz Form: Fixed a bug where UI 2.0 content would appear while the quiz form was open. The UI is now hidden when a quiz form is active and shown once it is closed.
