We’re pleased to announce the release of WorkLink CMS 3.40.0, delivering important platform enhancements that expand IoT capabilities, strengthen AI-assisted support, and lay the groundwork for future content organization features. This release also includes significant improvements to large file handling.

 

New Features

1. Expanded IoT Communication Support: CMS now supports consuming and exposing all IoT message properties, not just the value field. This enables richer data to be displayed in the app and used for logic and decision-making within workflows.

   Note: Full utilization of this feature requires upcoming updates to WorkLink Create and the mobile apps.

2. Zendesk Integration for UserFlow AI Chatbot: The UserFlow AI Chatbot can now read and reference Zendesk support articles, allowing it to provide users with more accurate and context-aware help based on official support documentation.

3. Initial API Support for Folders: Foundational API changes have been introduced to support folder-based organization. Future releases of Create and the WorkLink App will build on this to enable folder support across the platform.

   Note: Additional product updates will be required to fully expose this functionality.

Bug Fixes

• Improved Large File Processing: Large file handling has been upgraded to use improved processing technology. This enhances reliability and performance for operations such as project exports, scenario publishing, scenario loading, asset conversion, and asset optimization.

This release strengthens the CMS foundation with enhanced data capabilities, smarter AI support, and improved performance, while preparing the platform for future organizational features.
